Leonie Blackhead Removing Peel-Off Mask Review

I recently had the opportunity to try out a blackhead removing peel-off mask. I've tried many peel-off masks in the past and they don't work! I end up having to wash it off with a washcloth because half of the mask won't come off. When I think of a peel-off mask, I picture being able to literally peel it off in one piece. This is the first mask I have ever tried that does just that!!

What is it?

Leonie Blackhead Removing Peel-Off Mask is a ground-breaking black mask that instantly removes excess sebum, blackheads and other impurities from your skin. This innovative mask draws out blackheads and cleans your skin better than pore strips. Not only does it work perfectly on your nose, you can also use it on any problem area.

Benefits of using this mask:

  • Deep cleaned pores
  • Reduced enlarged pores
  • Excess oil absorbed
  • Purified skin by elimination of impurities such as blackheads and dead skin cells
  • Use it on any problem area! Nose, chin, forehead and even back!
Formulated with active charcoal and fruit extracts, it deep cleans your pores to reveal a cleaner, fresher-looking skin. Made of natural ingredients such as:

Activated Charcoal: Absorbs blackheads and other impurities to instantly reveal smooth skin
Grapefruit and Lemon Peel Extract: Powerful astringent combination that provides a deep cleanse for clearer skin
Rosemary Extract: An antioxidant and antimicrobial agent that detoxifies, refreshes and tones skin to help prevent new blackheads

How To Use

1. Wash face or area of the skin you want to use the mask on
2. Apply an even layer of the mask on the skin
3. Wait 15-20 minutes or until the mask is completely dry
4. Gently remove the mask by lifting the outer edge and peel toward the center

After you're done, check out the blackheads picked up by the mask.. if you dare!!

Ingredients

Aqua, Glycerin, Avena Sativa Kernel Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis Extract, Panthothenic Acid, Calendula Officinalis Extract, Citrus Species Peel Extract, Citrus Grandis Fruit Extract, Retinol, Tocopherol, Activated Carbon, Methylparaben

Until I tried this product, I was a firm believer of the Biore Pore Strips! What I hated about the strips was that when I pulled off the strip, it left my nose feeling very dry and itchy! This product doesn't do that. When I pulled the mask off, I didn't itch nor did my skin feel tight and dry.

The mask is a thicker and sort of sticky product. The first time I put it on my face, I was a little freaked out by the consistency.. Maybe because I decided to cover my whole face. It was a little painful as I was pulling it off because it was pulling all my baby hairs on my face (which obviously is painful!) I don't recommend using it all over your face unless you just have to. Make sure to stay away from your eyebrows and hair line because it will be painful to pull off! (If you happen to get this mask in your hair, wet the area and wipe it off with a washcloth- it should come right off!)

I decided to try it again.. this time only using it in the areas I needed it. I applied a thin, even layer on my nose and across my cheeks (that's where my clogged pores are.) I let it sit for 15-20 minutes and peeled it off. It felt great as I was pulling it off- like I could tell that the nasty gunk was being extracted from my pores! There was some nasty remnants left on the mask once I pulled it off. My nose and cheeks were left feeling super soft! It really does work and it has forever replaced the Biore strips!

(Excuse the nasty breakouts all over my face at the moment!)

  1. I have combination/sensitive skin and I tend to have whiteheads and blackheads on my nose and cheeks. I've never considered using a peel off mask before because my exfoliator is already doing the job for me. My face is kind of hairy around the forehead and the sides of my face so if I try this product, I won't apply it all over the face as you have recommended - i have a low threshold for pain! LOL! Thanks for the honest and thorough review. I think my nose and my cheeks will benefit from this. It's great they are selling their products through amazon. I have just activated my Amazon Prime account so I'll be getting free shipping for this. Hurray!
