Mario Badescu Skin Care Sample Review

As you all probably know, I'm obsessed with searching for free samples of beauty products on the internet. I came across this one about a month ago and filled out  a free consultation where they ask you all sorts of questions related to your skin. After they review it, they send you free samples of products that are specifically for your skin type. I received:

Hyaluronic Moisturizer (SPF 15): Daily moisture and moderate sun protection for combination, dry skin. Hyaluronic Acid locks in skin's natural moisture and antioxidant Vitamin A based Peanut Oil nourishes the skin. Moderate Sun protection added for anti-aging benefits to keep skin looking young and healthy. Absorbent and non-greasy. (2oz. $22.00)
Orange Cleansing Soap: Orange Extract makes this gentle, cream cleanser mildly exfoliating and very refreshing. Non-oily, non-detergent formula is safe and effective for all skin types to remove make-up and build-up from the skin's surface without drying. (8oz. $12.00/16oz. $20.00)
Seaweed Night Cream: A non-greasy, oil-free night cream enriched with Seaweed, Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid to soften, hydrate and nourish the skin without clogging pores. It leaves the skin feeling soft and silky. (1oz. $20.00)
Kiwi Face Scrub: Made with real Kiwi seeds and soft bits of Seaweed to naturally slough away surface dullness and uncover softer, smoother skin. Kiwi Seeds gently buff away dull skin while natural AHA's breakdown dull build-up which help to prevent blackheads and improve overall texture. (4oz. $15.00)
Special Cucumber Lotion: Refreshing, disinfecting and deep cleaning astringent that is effective in drying up existing acne blemishes while preventing new eruptions. Sulfur and soothing Cucumber help to fight against oily build-up and bacteria that can cause acne. (8oz. $18.00/16oz. $26.00/32oz. $45.00)
Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream: This easily absorbed, non-greasy eye cream is made with a blend of Vegetable, Carnation and antioxidant Rose Hips Oil. Reduces the look of dry, tired eyes and helps smooth out fine lines and wrinkles to keep the delicate eye area looking moist and youthful. (1/2oz. $18.00)
Flower & Tonic Mask: This is a combination purifying and calming mask for congested, bumpy, or slightly oily skin types. The Kaolin based formula absorbs dirt and oil from pores while the soothing botanical ingredient of Balsam Peru calms minor redness and irritation. (2oz. $18.00)

Willa Gentle Cleansing Lavender Facial Towelettes Review

I have a 10 month old son so it's hard for me to wash my face every single day like I would like to. I don't necessarily have acne prone skin, but I do have breakouts every once in a while. Facial towelettes make life just a tad bit easier for the moms and ladies out there who don't always have the time to wash their face. I've tried Neutrogena facial wipes and it left my face feeling greasy which is something that I can't stand.

I recently purchased from a brand I just learned about named Willa. Their product inventory is small (not that it's a bad thing). I had actually seen their name on the Birchbox website as I was looking around in the skincare shop. I decided to give their Lavender Facial Towelettes a try. They cost $7.00 for a pack of 30 wipes. I bought mine online but I saw that you can find them at some Target's. What I love about these wipes is that they leave my skin feeling refreshed and not sticky or greasy. I also like that you can just throw them in your purse, book bag or suitcase and you're ready to go!
