Bed Head Wave Artist

Today I have a review on the Bed Head Wave Artist. It is a Tourmaline Ceramic Deep Waver. It has three heat settings - low, medium and high. Since I have thick hair, I use it on high. I have a love-hate relationship with this product. My hair is naturally curly (loose, messy and ugly!) so when I blow dry my hair, it isn't perfectly straight. It's more of a frizzy mess with awkwardly curled ends! I tried using this product with my naturally blow dried hair and it didn't work whatsoever! I think it's because my hair is too thick for it to properly wave my hair. I tried it a few times hoping it would work but it never did. I was very upset about it because I had seen so many girls use it with FANTASTIC results!

I gave up on it for a month or so before I decided to give it a shot again. This time, I tried it on my hair after it was blow dried, straightened and second day hair. I had very low expectations on the outcome. To my surprise, it worked! I think the natural oils in my hair helped out a lot. I have always loved the wavy, surfer look so when I achieved it with this product, I was in love!
As you can see above, the first picture shows half my hair done and the other half straightened. I personally love doing this look on days where I'm not wanting to do anything special - maybe go to the park with my son or run some errands. It can also be used on special occasions or you can dress it up nicely. I bought my Bed Head Wave Artist at Ulta for $30. I know it can also be found at Walmart and possibly Target. I hope you enjoyed and I will talk to you all soon!
