I Got a Liebster Award!

I was nominated by Julie and Ashley from 20/30 GLAM for the Liebster Award! What is the Liebster Award, you ask?

The Liebster Award is given to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. So, what is a Liebster?  The meaning: Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. Isn't that sweet? Blogging is about building a community and it's a great way to connect with other bloggers and help spread the word about newer bloggers/blogs.


Here are the rules for receiving this award:
1. You have to link back to the person that nominated you.

11 Random Facts About Me:

1. I have 2 pet bunnies- their names are Mo and Gatsby! (If you follow me on instagram, you know what they look like!)

2. I hate bugs!

3. My favorite season is Fall! I am so ready for the cool weather!

4. I have been in college for 4 years now and still have more to go (I had my son in the fall of 2011 so I had to take a whole semester off.. then there were problems with getting into classes I needed so I had to transfer schools. Needless to say, I'm ready to be done!)

5. I was never into makeup or hair when I was in high school. (I wish I had been because the pictures I have to live with for the rest of my life are horrid!)

6. I am obsessed with sweet tea!

7. I like to chew ice.. like ALL the time! It's a bad habit!

8. I wish I had unlimited amounts of money so I could have the makeup room of my DREAMS!

9. I am petrified of speaking in front of people!

10. I don't wear makeup every day. I know a lot of people assume that we (beauty lovers) do but usually that isn't the case!

11. I want to live at the beach!

1. What made you want to start blogging?

I had really enjoyed watching YouTube beauty videos and loved the atmosphere of fellow beauty lovers! I didn't/don't have the guts to sit in front of a camera to make videos so I decided to start a blog instead! :)

Casual, Simple, Plain (Haha! I'm not a huge fan of dressing up! I like to be comfy!)

Married for almost 2 months!

Anywhere that is by the ocean!

Shopping for makeup, playing with my son, working on my blog!

Hm, I guess my favorite "thing" would be my phone or my computer (they go hand in hand).
